Houston Astros pitcher Lance McCullers made his MLB debut against the Oakland A’s on Monday night, and he relied on the Bat-Signal to help give him confidence.
McCullers, 21, took the mound at Minute Maid Park wearing some awesome Batman cleats. Many were quick to point out that New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey must have been jealous.

Harvey is also a Batman junkie, and he even has “Dark Knight” written across the knob of his bats.
