Eric O’Flaherty takes frustration out on water cooler (Video)

The A’s defeated the Indians 5-4 on Saturday. However, it wasn’t smooth sailing for Oakland.

With the game tied after seven innings, the A’s scored three runs in the top of the eighth to take a 5-2 lead. The Indians scored twice in the bottom half, but weren’t ultimately able to get closer.

One of Cleveland’s runs was scored by Michael Brantley, who walked to lead off the inning. Eric O’Flaherty, who came on to get the final two outs in the seventh inning, issued the free pass and was replaced afterward. Upon reaching the dugout, the veteran reliever, obviously frustrated, let a nearby water cooler have it.
