Bernard Berrian spent eight seasons in the NFL, four with the Bears and four with the Vikings. Prior to that, he played for Fresno State. To Berrian’s surprise, when watching surveillance video of a burglary attempt at his home, he recognized the suspect as a former teammate and friend from his college days. And on top of that, Berrian was with him earlier in the day.
Therrian Fontenot and Berrian were hanging out at the same barbecue when Fontenot left. Little did Berrian know what would happen next.
“It was crazy because we were all sitting around and he actually left from where we were at to go do it,” said Berrian, via ABC30.
