The Angels are looking to beef up their outfield, and they have done so by acquiring three big leaguers in the days leading up to the trade deadline.
On Monday they acquired Shane Victorino in a trade with the Boston Red Sox. On Tuesday, they acquired David DeJesus from the Rays, and David Murphy from the Cleveland Indians. They sent minor league pitcher Eduar Lopez to Tampa Bay for DeJesus and Double-A shortstop Eric Stamets to the Indians for Murphy.
