With injury in his past, Magic 2nd-round pick Justin Jackson ready to get rolling

Justin Jackson said some mornings he wakes up and forgets that he even had shoulder surgery that prematurely ended his sophomore year at Maryland this past season.

The Orlando Magic certainly didn’t seem concerned about the torn labrum, selecting the former Terrapin forward with the 43rd overall pick during Thursday night’s NBA Draft.

Jackson missed the final 20 games of his collegiate career, but he’s ready to lace up for the Magic, who will find out right away what he can do as the NBA Summer League fast approaches.
