Report: Magic would have “immediate interest” in Terry Stotts if available

Marc Stein of the New York Times reports that if the Portland Trailblazers part ways with head coach Terry Stotts, the Magic would show “immediate interest.”

The mumurs have already started In coaching circles that 10 consecutive playoffs defeats will cost Terry Stotts his job in Portland, but league sources say Orlando would register immediate interest in Stotts if he becomes available

Stotts, in his sixth season as head coach of the Blazers, guided the team to a 49-33 record, which was good for the Northwest Division title and the third seed.
