As expected, the Orlando Magic are expected to put in a bid for the 2019 and 2020 All-Star Games, Magic CEO Alex Martins told Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.
The Magic last hosted the All-Star Game at the Amway Center during the lockout-shortened 2012 season and seemed poised to join a regular rotation of All-Star hosts. The Amway Center has received rave reviews as a facility capable of hosting a major event like this.
Orlando certainly felt a little sour about getting the All-Star Game during a lockout-shortened season with even some small notice on preparing for the weekend-long event.
