Orlando Magic to Dedicate Opening Night to Victims of Pulse Nightclub Shooting

The Orlando Magic announced Tuesday they will dedicate their season-opening game against the Miami Heat on Oct. 26 to the 49 people who were killed in the Pulse nightclub shooting in June.

Ralph Ellis, Ashley Fantz, Faith Karimi and Eliott C. McLaughlin of CNN reported the 49 deaths caused by a gunman who pledged his allegiance to ISIS at the gay nightclub during the early morning hours of June 12 represented the deadliest mass shooting in the United States.
