NBA will hold moment of silence at Game 5 of The Finals due to Orlando shooting

In recognition of the Orlando nightclub shooting that has killed at least 50 people and hurt 53 more, the NBA will hold a moment of silence prior to Game 5 of The Finals on Monday night in Oakland, Calif., a league spokesman said.

The decision is no surprise. The NBA, Orlando Magic and some of the league's teams posted their condolences on their Twitter accounts on Sunday. In mid-November, the league's teams held moments of silence to honor the victims of terror attacks in Paris.

Game 5 will be played at Oracle Arena, home of the Golden State Warriors, who own a 3-1 series lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
