NBA Draft 2017: Orlando Magic sign Wesley Iwundu

The Orlando Magic have signed Wesley Iwundu, the 33rd overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, the team announced Tuesday. Orlando did not publicly disclose terms of the contract, but Orlando Sentinel scribe Josh Robbins has the details straight from Iwundu’s agent, Austin Walton: $4.1 million over three years, with a partial guarantee on the final season. That dollar amount represents a raise over the minimum salary for the rookie, a sign of good faith and the confidence the Magic have in the young swingman.

Iwundu, a three-and-D prospect, comes to Orlando via Kansas State as a four-year player.
