The Magic were without a healthy point guard before Carter-Williams returned Friday from his own injury. After missing 19 straight games, he hardly seemed like he’d been gone.
Carter-Williams provided a stabilizing presence in getting the Magic organized early and later began attacking the basket when the opportunities presented themselves. He delivered 15 of his season-high 21 points in the third quarter, hitting 4 of his 5 shots at the rim, when Orlando took control of the game.
