As tough as the early part of the Magic's schedule has been this season, it now lightens up considerably, especially at home.
On Wednesday night at Amway Center, the Magic (3-5) face the Los Angeles Lakers, beginning an 11-game stretch comprised of only four teams who made the playoffs last season.
Games against the Lakers, Utah Jazz, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings and New York Knicks are at home. The Magic also will play at Minnesota and at Utah during this stretch.
Other games in their weight class include home dates against the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks, two teams that reached the postseason last season but finished .
