ORLANDO – The Orlando Magic have waived guard-forward Marcus Georges-Hunt, President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman announced today. He was signed as a free agent by Orlando on April 3, 2017.
Georges-Hunt (6’6”, 220, 3/28/94) played in five games last season during his rookie campaign with the Magic, averaging 2.8 ppg. and 1.8 rpg. in 9.5 minpg. He also made his NBA debut on April 4 at Cleveland, recording one rebound in four minutes, and scored his first NBA points on April 6 vs. Brooklyn, finishing with career-highs of eight points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes.
