Magic ‘trending in the right direction’ after key road win at Knicks

The Magic only trailed for 27 seconds during Wednesday’s national TV matchup at Madison Square Garden against the Knicks, who scored the first two points of the evening.

New York never led again on ESPN when Orlando built up a 21-point first-half lead en route to a 124-107 victory behind a team-high 28 from forward Franz Wagner and 22 from Desmond Bane.

It marked the sixth time in 12 games that Jamahl Mosley’s squad scored 120-plus points, something last year’s team only did 10 times across 82 regular-season contests.
