One of the biggest challenges Frank Vogel will face in his first season as Orlando Magic coach also could become an opportunity.
The roster has undergone an upheaval since Vogel accepted the job in mid-May. Eight players who finished last season with the team are gone. Seven newcomers have taken their place.
Such massive turnover will force the Magic to build team chemistry almost from scratch.
That should be beneficial.
The 2015-16 Magic were filled with nice guys who worked hard and genuinely liked each other, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the chemistry was good under coach Scott Skiles.
