The Orlando Magic will be without reserve guard Michael Carter-Williams for Wednesday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors.
Carter-Williams did not play in the second half of Tuesday’s 120-109 loss to the Indiana Pacers, and an MRI later revealed a tendon strain in his left foot. The team had listed Carter-Williams as doubtful earlier in the day before ruling him out.
There was no specific play that led to the injury, but Carter-Williams was experiencing soreness in the foot, according to team officials. The Magic are being cautious at this point.
Wednesday’s game against the Raptors was the Magic’s fourth seeding game.
