Orlando Magic shooting guard Evan Fournier was back in the starting lineup for Wednesday night’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Fournier, the team’s fourth-leading scorer, had missed nine straight games because of low back spasms. He hadn’t played since a 116-92 loss to the 76ers on Dec. 31, when the injury forced him out with 4:12 left in the first quarter.
“When you lose a guy like him, there’s a lot of parts of it. It’s not just the guy that you lose. It’s what happens to your bench and your depth,” Magic coach Steve Clifford said.
