Magic 125, Spurs 89: An all-around success for the Orlando Magic

Now that is how you kick off the preseason. Everything went about as perfect as possible for the Orlando Magic in their opener:

Markelle Fultz was back on the court. Mo Bamba stole the spotlight. Al-Farouq Aminu showed what he brings to the team. Aaron Gordon was the best player on the floor.

And the Magic cruised to victory.

What began as Markelle Fultz Day turned into a dominant and balanced attack by the Magic during their 125-89 rout of the Spurs. We saw what we needed to see for now from Fultz, who shot 3-for-8 from the field (0-for-2 from three) and finished with six points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals in 17 minutes.
