Jonathan Isaac suffers knee injury, taken off court on stretcher

It was as bad a start to 2020 as you could have imagined for the Orlando Magic.

Just two minutes into their game against the Wizards on Wednesday, Jonathan Isaac suffered a knee injury and had to be removed from the court on a stretcher.

After forcing a turnover, Isaac drove down the lane, where he was met by Bradley Beal. Isaac’s leg seemed to get tangled with Beal’s while attempting a Euro step in the paint and his foot planted awkwardly. Isaac immediately fell to the court in pain and remained there for several minutes.

The Magic announced that Isaac suffered a hyperextended left knee and will undergo an MRI in Orlando.
