Jonathan Isaac has successful surgery on torn ACL

Isaac, who was injured in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 132-116 win over the Sacramento Kings, also had some meniscal repair work during the procedure performed by Dr. Robert LaPrade.

Isaac was driving to the basket when his left knee buckled on the play. There did not appear to be any contact from any Kings’ defenders. It was the same knee that he injured on Jan. 1 in Washington, D.C., although the Magic said the previous injury had no impact on the ACL tear.

Isaac immediately went down on the floor and clutched his left knee as he grimaced in pain.
