Aaron Gordon, Michael Carter-Williams still mending as Magic prepare for Game 2 against Bucks

The Orlando Magic have played five straight games without starting forward Aaron Gordon and reserve guard Michael Carter-Williams in the lineup, including Tuesday’s playoff series opener against the Milwaukee Bucks. Whether that stretches to six games remains unclear.

As he spoke with reporters earlier today, Magic coach Steve Clifford said Gordon (left hamstring strain) and Carter-Williams (foot tendon strain) were getting in some on-court work with coaches. Clifford said team will have a better sense in the morning about the availability of Gordon and Carter-Williams for Thursday’s Game 2, which tips off at 6 p.m.
