2018 NBA Draft: Orlando Magic select Melvin Frazier 35th

Continuing their trend from the first round, the Orlando Magic selected defense first small forward Melvin Frazier with the 35th pick in Thursday night’s draft.

Frazier, a three-year man from Tulane, possess’ good size, standing at 6-foot-6 with a 7 and 1.75 foot wingspan. He’s a physical defender, who has shown improvement shooting and scoring the ball over his three years at Tulane.

Taking Frazier not only shores up the Magic’s wing depth, but also gives them another strong defensive option. Much like last years second round selection, Wes Iwundu, Frazier will get after it on defense, but holds a much more developed offensive game than Iwundu does.
