There is no set criteria, my goal is to find 15 worthy wrestlers out of many each week to bestow the honor on. My goal is also to spread the wealth and try to find 15 fresh athletes each week so no wrestler or team will be named more than once.
You can always nominate a wrestler for future honors by sending me an email to bparsons@orlandosentinel.com. The nominations must be received by 5 p.m. on Mondays.
