Winter Park High School has two water polo region finals to play Saturday and the Wildcats longtime coach, Barry Creighton, has to add some drive time to the challenge.
His Wildcats girls team plays a region final game at Seminole High in Sanford on Saturday at 10 a.m. Creighton will go from there back to the Winter Park campus where the Wildcats boys team hosts Lake Brantley in another region final.
Saturday’s survivors advance to next week’s FHSAA water polo state tournament at Belen Jesuit Prep School of Miami on Friday and Saturday, April 16-17.
