Vancouver Whitecaps FC and midfielder Jon Erice have agreed to mutually part ways and his contract has been terminated, the club announced on Wednesday.
Erice signed a one-year deal when he joined the club last January with a club option for the 2021 season.
“Today I say goodbye to a great city, a great league, and a great club,” Erice said in a release. “I can only say thanks to Vancouver Whitecaps FC for giving me the opportunity to be a part of an incredible project that is sure to earn great results in the near future.
