U.S. men’s national team midfielder Christian Pulisic has missed the last five games in all competitions for Chelsea.
Pulisic suffered a thigh injury in a training session following the run of games over the holiday period.
Even though the injury absence is concerning, USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter is confident one of his top players on the international stage will be back training with the English Premier League side soon.
“We’re always concerned when a player gets injured, no matter who it is,” Berhalter said during a conference call with reporters Monday. “We’re constantly getting the medical reports and looking through the information.
