Lawrence Olum isn’t ready to hang up his boots just yet.
Last Thursday, USL Championship side Miami FC announced it had signed the veteran defender to a deal for the 2020 season.
“Lawrence is a great addition to Miami FC,” the club’s head coach Nelson Vargas said in a statement. “He’s had a distinguished career in the MLS. He will add veteran leadership both in the locker room and on the field. On the field he will bring loads of experience that will solidify our backline.”
Olum, 35, spent last season with Minnesota United FC in Major League Soccer, making 10 appearances.
