UCF WR Gabe Davis selected by Buffalo Bills in fourth round of NFL draft

The Sanford Seminole High alum declared early for the draft after setting the school’s single-season receiving mark with 1,241 yards. He skipped the team’s bowl game against Marshall in December to prepare for the NFL Scouting Combine.

His 23 career touchdowns rank second in school history and his eight games of 100-plus receiving yards tie him for ninth in school history.

The Buffalo Bills, who finished second in the AFC East with a 10-6 mark, ranked No. 26 in the NFL in passing offense while averaging 201.8 yards per game.

Davis was known for his relentless work ethic at UCF, catching passes long after practice had ended and studying film to better prepare him for each matchup.
