UCF has reportedly zeroed in on Arkansas State’s Terry Mohajir as it searches for a new athletics director.
While a deal hasn’t been finalized, the two sides are in talks and an announcement is expected within the next 24 hours, according to Yahoo Sports’ Pete Thamel.
Mohajir would replace Danny White, who left to become the athletics director at Tennessee on Jan. 22. Mohajir’s immediate challenge would be to hire a new football coach after White selected the Knights’ Josh Heupel to become the Volunteers’ new coach on Jan. 27.
Mohajir’s salary in 2019-20 was $450,000, while White’s was paid $1.
