Running back Anthony Williams of Lake Brantley committed to UCF on Thursday, picking the Knights over 13 other Football Bowl Subdivision scholarship, including the Florida Gators.
Williams, a 6-foot, 185-pound runner who has often times been overshadowed in Lake Brantley’s triple option running attack, has been putting up big numbers since his sophomore season. At UCF he will joining former Lake Brantley stablemate in Damarius Good, a 2019 signee who redshirted his first season at UCF.
Williams ran for 870 yards and 11 touchdowns on 128 carries last season as a junior, and in 2018 he rushed for 1,055 yards and 11 touchdowns on 133 carries.
