Timber Creek came from behind to score a 22-21 road win over Oviedo in Friday night high school football.
The Wolves, 5-0 and ranked No. 6 in the Sentinel Super 16, entered the fourth quarter trailing by two touchdowns against the Lions (3-3).
Timber Creek’s Jonathan Cabral scored twice in the final minutes and the Wolves converted a game-winning two-point conversion with 1:06 to go.
“Just keep playing,” Timber Creek head coach Jim Buckridge said when asked what the message to his team was entering the fourth quarter. “We didn’t play very well and they came out and hit us in the mouth.
