Joanna Boyles registered the first two-goal contributions of her professional career last Saturday in Houston. The University of North Carolina-product opened the scoring in the match in the 13th minute, when she stepped up and buried a free kick from right outside the area for her first professional goal. Boyles also recorded an assist in the match on Danica Evans’ game-tying goal in the 71st, which served as her first assist in NWSL play. Boyles has appeared in six matches for the Pride in 2019 since joining the Club in the offseason.
