That part of Clifford’s routine did not change during the NBA’s coronavirus shutdown. It actually gave Clifford more time to study his team’s — and other team’s — tendencies. It’s what he does.
“Our defense was not as good the last, really, 12 to 17 games, so we made adjustments there,” Clifford said following Saturday’s practice session.
