Sky Blue FC launched a complete rebrand Tuesday days ahead the 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup. The New Jersey-based club now has a new logo, theme and name — NJ/NY Gotham FC.
Gotham FC will start the Challenge Cup April 14 against the Orlando Pride at Exploria Stadium. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. ET with a live broadcast on CBSSN.
With the brand transformation, the club hopes to align its identity with the communities where it is based. Gotham FC will play matches at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J., this year while still drawing fans from the greater metropolitan area of New York City.
