It was a banner showing for UCF football which set a program record by having five players drafted in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Knights have had at least one player drafted in each of the past five years and while it’s very early on there is the distinct possibility that the trend should continue next year.
Bryant announced his intention to transfer to UCF this spring, reuniting him with his former head coach Gus Malzahn and defensive coordinator Travis Williams. The defensive end averaged about 17 tackles and 2.5 sacks over the past three seasons at Auburn.
