Sanford Seminole and Jones High kick off the 2021 high school football regular season Friday looking to extend lengthy win streaks as two of the top teams in the Orlando area preseason Sentinel Super 16 rankings.
The ‘Noles, ranked No. 1, have won 19 regular season games in a row since the end of 2018. No. 2 Jones has won 13 consecutive regular season games dating to Sept., 2019.
Seminole’s Dre Graham blocked a field goal attempt by Jones with 55 seconds to play last week in a preseason Kickoff Classic game that ended in a 14-14 tie.
