Two weeks ago, Sanford Seminole senior Anthony Dunn Jr. had no scholarship offers from Football Bowl Subdivision programs. The 6-foot-5, 250-pound defensive end was just learning the position last season and was a bit raw, getting work as a rotation player.
Despite his not playing a full-time role on the powerful Seminole defense as a junior, Dunn was still surprised by his lack of offers.
Still, however, he said he wasn’t frustrated. He knew his opportunities would come and he was right. This week Dunn has seen a pair of FBS offers come in from Marshall and Georgia State, and he’s ready for more.
