Winter Springs High School softball senior Brianna Layton wishes she could play one last game, hit it on the sweet spot one last time, share one last cheer and one last tear with her friends and teammates before she joins the Navy this fall.
“I’ve played with many of my teammates since I was like 5 years old,” Brianna says. “It’s hard leaving them like this. I’m thankful we’ve made a lot of great memories together; I just wish we had those final senior-year memories. I wish we could have gone out together and played our last game on our own terms.
