Romain Alessandrini will not be returning to the LA Galaxy for his fourth season, he announced in a post on Instagram on Monday.
Alessandrini’s contract expired following the 2019 season and the Galaxy were in negotiations to extend his contract.
However, Alessandrini will now be free to move onto his next club.
“My journey in LA is officially over,” Alessandrini said in his post. “I gave you my heart during the past 3 years, a lot of ups and downs for sure but it has been the best 3 years of my life and I will keep in mind only the positive things I’ve learned and the beautiful moments I’ve lived in LA on and off the field.
