MIAMI — One thing that drew Miami Palmetto wide receiver Brashard Smith to commit to the Miami Hurricanes in July was the addition of new offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee and wide receivers coach Rob Likens.
“I love it. It’s quick, built for me,” Smith told the South Florida Sun Sentinel of Lashlee’s up-tempo attack. “We’re already talking about deep routes, so I’m just ready to go in January.
Smith liked that Lashlee did leading Auburn years back when the Tigers reached the 2013 college football national championship and that Likens was offensive coordinator at Arizona State before arriving at UM.
