The preseason soccer has already started in Orlando with this month’s Florida Cup, and it will continue into February ahead of the 2016 MLS season.
Several teams will be featuring in a tournament at IMG Academy in Bradenton, and many more will use the IMG facilities as a training base.
New York City FC, FC Cincinnati (USL), HB Køge (Denmark) and KR Reykjavik (Iceland) will play in IMG’s Suncoast Pro Classic from Feb. 20-Feb. 27.
2/20– FC Cincinnati vs Reykjavik FC – 5:00pm
2/20 – NYCFC vs HB Koge – 7:30pm
2/24 – NYCFC vs FC Cincinnati – 5:00pm
2/24 - Reykjavik FC vs HB Koge – 7:30pm
2/27 – FC Cincinnati vs HB Koge – 5:00pm
2/27 – NYCFC vs Reykjavik FC – 7:30pm
Other teams will simply use IMG to train, and they could be potential friendly opponents for Orlando City in the preseason.
