Lamont Lee returned an interception 23 yards for a touchdown and his Osceola teammates set up another touchdown with a blocked punt as the Kowboys overcame a slow start to record a 29-0 home win against Tohopekaliga.
After Osceola recorded a safety on the game’s first play, the score remained 2-0 until late in the second quarter when Ja’Randy Swint broke loose on an 18-yard touchdown run.
Lee’s interception 13 seconds later made it 15-0, before a blocked punt set up a 36-yard scoring pass from quarterback Chad Mascoe to Izaiah Jean-Batiste which gave Osceola a 22-0 lead at the half.
