ORLANDO, Fla. (June 25, 2021) - Orlando Pride has signed English defender Amy Turner to a two-year contract with an option for an additional season, it was announced today. Turner joins the Pride from FA Women’s Super League (WSL) side Manchester United, with allocation money used in the signing.
“Amy is a player we identified early in our recruitment process for this season who could add more quality in a key position for us, allowing us to both strengthen the way we play now, while opening opportunities for more tactically flexible play moving forward,” Orlando Pride General Manager Ian Fleming said.
