Orlando Pride focused on bold offense in road match against Gotham

With most of their stars returned from the Tokyo Olympics, the Orlando Pride are eager to unlock their offense this weekend against Gotham FC.

This will be a challenge when they kick off at Red Bull Arena on Sunday — with a live broadcast on — against a Gotham side that allowed only 14 goals in 15 games this season.

The Pride are averaging 1.2 goals per game and that average dipped to only 0.88 goals per game in the middle third of the season.

As the team makes its final push for the playoffs in the final eight games of the regular season, the Pride are focused on unleashing their offense — led by forwards Jodie Taylor, Marta and Sydney Leroux — to secure a postseason spot.
