Every player on the Orlando City and Orlando Pride roster received the COVID-19 vaccine, according to a club official.
Positive COVID-19 tests continue to provide hurdles to the MLS and NWSL season, most recently forcing the postponement of Saturday’s match between the Washington Spirit and Portland Thorns.
The game was called off hours before kick off following four positive COVID-19 tests among Spirit players, who traveled to Portland on a commercial flight last Thursday. Multiple Washington players are reportedly unvaccinated, with one estimate as high as eight players according to The Athletic.
Lions players and their families received their second doses of the vaccine on April 24, while Pride players received their second doses on April 26.
