The six-year MLS vet will join the Pride as an assistant coach under Tom Sermanni in 2016.
Orlando Pride announced today its first addition to Head Coach Tom Sermanni's coaching staff for the 2016 season, bringing in former Major League Soccer veteran Khano Smith.
Smith arrives in Orlando from Southern New Hampshire University, where he was an assistant coach on the men's team that went 19-1-1 during the 2015 season.
"Khano comes to us with tremendous experience across many levels, including professional play, youth development and broadcasting," said Sermanni in a team release. "His experiences on and off the field are an important piece of the puzzle to help prepare the team for a positive 2016 season.
