Well, was that a fun night, wasn’t it? Orlando City managed to christen its new soccer palace with a grind-it-out 1-0 victory over NYCFC. It wasn’t the greatest performance from an Orlando City team, especially after losing captain Kaká within the first 10 minutes of the game. The team was able to persevere and hang on defensively to a shutout victory.

GK, Joe Bendik, 8.5 (MotM) – Once again, Joe Bendik saves Orlando City. Time and time again, the keeper came up with numerous big saves, including a breakaway stop in the 32nd minute on Alexander Ring.
