ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 13, 2020) - Orlando City SC has acquired forward Alexander Antonio Alvarado Carriel, more commonly known as Alexander Alvarado. After spending the last three years with Ecuadorian LigaPro Serie A side S.D. Aucas, the Ecuador native joins the Lions on a free, short-term loan with an option to exercise a permanent transfer at the conclusion of the 2020 campaign. Alvarado will join the Lions pending the receipt of his ITC, P-1 visa and completion of any mandatory quarantine period under local government and MLS health and safety protocol.
“Alexander possesses a great amount of versatility, able to play on the left, on the right or at the center,” Orlando City EVP of Soccer Operations Luiz Muzzi said.
