Orlando City looking to snap winless streak at Sporting Kansas City

Former partners turned opponents, both looking to snap winless streaks. A suspended coach and player. An injured star.

There are no lack of storylines for Sunday's match, when Orlando City (2-2-5, 11 points) travels to reigning U.S. Open Cup champion Sporting Kansas City (4-6-2, 14 points) for its first Western Conference road trip. The game coverage will begin at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Orlando City was Sporting KC's USL affiliate for two years before the Lions joined MLS. The league awarded a franchise to Orlando during a meeting that took place in Kansas City, and the Lions' new stadium was modeled, in part, after SKC's Children's Mercy Park.
