ORLANDO, Fla. (January 25, 2017) - Orlando City B has added another attacking threat with its signing of U.S. youth national team forward Joe Gallardo to a United Soccer League (USL) contract for the 2017 season, pending USL and federation approval.
“We think Joe will play a big role on our team this season,“ Lions General Manager Niki Budalic said. “Joe has excelled at each level he’s played at and we’re excited to see his continued development this season.”
The 19-year-old signed with OCB after scoring three goals in seven appearances for Orlando City’s U-17/18 Pro Academy in 2016.
